Security first
Traffic is encrypted in transit, services run with least privilege on hardened infrastructure, and every account can turn on two-factor authentication with an authenticator app or email codes.
Safety
Atom is built to be helpful without being reckless. Here is how we think about safety, security and the trust you place in us.
Traffic is encrypted in transit, services run with least privilege on hardened infrastructure, and every account can turn on two-factor authentication with an authenticator app or email codes.
Conversations belong to you. Export any chat as JSON, delete it permanently, or revoke a public share link with one click.
Atom shows its reasoning when it thinks, cites sources when it searches and prints code and output when it computes. You can always check its work.
Every response has a report button. Reports go to workspace moderators and to us, and reported conversations may be used to improve how Atom behaves.
When Atom runs code it does so in a locked-down, short-lived sandbox with no access to your account or other users.
We keep what is needed to run the service and honor your deletions. Details are in the privacy policy.
Where your data lives
The application, the database that stores conversations and file storage run in DigitalOcean's London data center. Atom runs on GPU servers we operate in DigitalOcean's Toronto data center in Canada. Every sub-processor and its location is listed in the privacy policy, and we update the list before adding a new one.
Reporting
If Atom produced something harmful, inaccurate or inappropriate, use the flag on the response. For security issues, or anything you would rather not put in a chat, email us directly.
Security researchers: please report vulnerabilities privately to security@incbury.co.uk (details in our security.txt) and give us reasonable time to respond before disclosure. See also our privacy policy and terms of use.
