Describe it.
Atom builds it.
A coding agent that works inside your project. It reads your code, makes changes you approve, and runs your tests until the job is done, in a desktop app, your terminal or your editor.

Fixed add() in calc.py: it subtracted instead of adding. All 3 tests pass.
What it does
An agent, not autocomplete.
Atom does the whole loop: find the code, change it, run it, fix what breaks. You stay in charge of every edit.
You approve every change
Edits arrive as diffs and commands in full. Dangerous commands always ask, even on auto-approve. Keep or undo each file, or each hunk.
- Add a quantity field to cart items
- Use it when summing the total
- Cover it with a test
Agents that work as a team
Team mode runs a planner, a coder and a reviewer, with your tests as the gate. Issues go back to the coder until the reviewer approves.
Parallel agents
Give one task to up to four agents at once, each in its own git worktree. Compare what they did side by side and keep the best.
Rewind any time
Atom snapshots your project before every message. Restore to any point and the conversation rewinds with it. Your git history is never touched.
Skills
Teach Atom how your team works with SKILL.md files, the same format as Claude Code and Cursor. It loads the right one when your request matches.
Dev servers in a built-in terminal
Atom starts your dev server in the background, watches the output and gives you the link. Stop, restart or type into it from the Terminal panel.

Your editor and your tools
The Atom sidebar for VS Code and Cursor sends selections and a file's problems to Atom, and opens its changes in the diff editor. Connect MCP servers for GitHub, databases and more.
Command line
Or live in the terminal.
Run atom in any project for the same agent with the same approvals. Script it with atom -p, or send one task to several agents at once with atom run --parallel.
