Why we exist
We want to understand the models we ship.
Training Atom ourselves means we can trace a bad answer back to the data, the training or the serving, and fix it. It also means we decide what the model is for and how your data is handled.
Atom is small today and behind the largest models on most tasks. Our aim is to close that gap in the open, release by release, with the evidence published alongside.
