Incbury Chat / Search and research

Answers with receipts.

Language models are confident by default. Atom earns that confidence by reading real sources and showing you which ones it used.

How it works

From question to cited answer.

  1. 01

    Plan

Atom breaks your question into sub-questions and decides what to search for first.

  2. 02

    Search and read

It runs the queries, opens the most relevant pages and pulls out the passages that matter.

  3. 03

    Cite

Every claim that came from a source is numbered and linked so you can open it.

  4. 04

    Synthesise

For deep research, it writes a structured report with sections, findings and a full source list.

Search vs deep research

Two tools for two kinds of question.

Honesty

What Atom will and will not do.

It will

  • Tell you when it searched and what it searched for, including when it searched on its own
  • Link every cited claim to the page it came from
  • Say when sources disagree or when it could not find an answer
  • Prefer primary sources over summaries of them

It will not

  • Invent a citation to look thorough
  • Present a single blog post as consensus
  • Send your account details or the rest of your conversation to search engines
  • Keep the pages it read: they are cached for a few minutes, then discarded

Ask something you would normally have to look up.

Search is on the Free plan too.
