Accessibility statement
Last updated 6 October 2026
Incbury wants everyone to be able to use incbury.co.uk and Incbury Chat. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we test against that standard before releases.
What we do
- Every interactive element is reachable and operable with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Text and essential interface elements meet AA contrast ratios in both light and dark themes.
- Pages have a logical heading structure, a skip link and descriptive link text.
- Images that carry meaning have alternative text; decorative ones are hidden from assistive technology.
- Animation respects the reduced-motion preference and nothing flashes.
- Forms have visible labels, clear error messages and do not rely on colour alone.
- Every language version sets the correct page language so screen readers use the right voice.
- Automated accessibility checks run in our continuous integration pipeline for every change.
Known issues
- Long streaming responses in Incbury Chat may be announced in fragments by some screen readers.
- Charts and images generated by Atom do not always include meaningful alternative text.
- Some third-party embeds, such as Google sign-in, follow the provider's accessibility rather than ours.
- Incbury Chat itself is only available in English for now.
We are working on each of these and will update this list as they are fixed.
